I am pleased that you decided to visit my Web page. I hope you will explore all of Inglewood's Web pages. You will find that Inglewood is a progressive City that is on the verge of soaring - economically, culturally, and socially.
Inglewood has several outstanding natural assets that make it the perfect
location for
businesses and corporations, and for families rearing children. Inglewood sits
in the
middle of four freeways (I-110, I-105, I-10, and I-405); it is only ten minutes
from Los
Angeles International Airport; twenty minutes from the Los Angeles Harbor; and
fifteen
minutes from any major attraction in Los Angeles. Eight major thoroughfares run
through
the City, both north and south, and east and west. Inglewood's weather is
perfect. While
most cities near Inglewood suffer from suffocating heat waves, we can count on
an afternoon breeze at around 3:00 p.m. to bring cooling comfort to a hot day.
Perhaps Inglewood's greatest asset is its residential and business community.
Inglewood's residential community is culturally diverse, highly astute; and they
maintain a
strong commitment to the well-being of their community. There are over two
hundred
active neighborhood block clubs throughout the City and during the summer
months,
they host outstanding block parties to bring neighbors together.
Inglewood's business community also maintains a strong commitment to community.
With the Great Western Forum and Hollywood Park boasting over ninety combined
years
of Inglewood citizenry, it is no wonder they are model corporate-community
partners.
Inglewood also has two world-class hospitals - Centinela Hospital Medical Center
and
Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital. Additionally, one of the largest and most
beautiful
cemetery/mortuaries in the country sits in Inglewood, Inglewood Park
Cemetery/Mortuary.
Numerous small family businesses have found Inglewood to be a great home.
I encourage you to visit Inglewood. We proudly wear the name "City of Champions"
not
just because of the Los Angeles Lakers' winning history, but also because we
have
"champion people."
