Inglewood, CA (April 16, 2010)â€”Saturday, April 24, 2010, will be a day of fun, learning, and increased awareness as Inglewood celebrates Earth Day from 11 :00 a.m. to 3 :00 p.m. at Grevillea Art Park.
This one day event promises to be fun for the entire family as the Inglewood Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services joins the Public Works-Environmental Services team for a day that promises to make the entire City more aware of our role in protecting our planet. There will be composting workshops, recycling presentations, and information booths of interest to all. A Farmerâ€™s Market will be held during the celebration from 8 :00 a.m. to 3 :00 p.m.
A special treat for the kids this year will be an environmental puppet show, face painting, live music and entertainment, and much more. Donâ€™t miss the fun ! There will be food, raffles, and fun give-a-ways for all. Grevillea Art Park is located at 231 South Grevillea Avenue (corner of Grevillea Avenue and Manchester Boulevard).
