The mission of the Aircraft
Noise Mitigation Program is to provide an improved quality of life to those
residents impacted by aircraft noise resulting from the City’s proximity to Los
Angeles International Airport. This is achieved through the attainment;
coordination and management of grant funds provided by the Federal Aviation
Administration and Los Angeles World Airports and with these funds the
implementation of the Aircraft Noise Mitigation Program.
