Dog Licenses are issued by the County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control Enforcement Services Division. Due to recent changes, the registration process is now done directly with Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control and not the City Clerk’s Office; however, the Inglewood City Clerk’s Office will provide you with an envelope with instructions on how to obtain your pet’s mandatory license. Copies of rabies vaccinations and/or certification of your pet being spayed or neutered can be made as a courtesy to residents in the Clerk’s office. The standard fee is $60.00 per year however, if the animal has been spayed or neutered the fee is reduced to $20.00 per year. Seniors with proof of their animal being spayed or neutered receives a lower deduction of $7.50. A valid driver’s license or State Identification card must be provided for the reduction to be honored.
