Mary Beth Allen, Human Resources Director Mary Beth Allen, Human Resources Director for the City, was most recently the interim Human Resources Director for the exposition and recreation division of Metro, a regional government in Portland, Oregon.   Prior to that, she served as HR Director of the Portland Development Commission, the City of Portland’s redevelopment, housing, and economic development agency.  Her work at the City of Portland was preceded by four years in private law practice with a focus on labor and employment law.     Mary Beth’s undergraduate degree (in journalism) and law degree are both from the University of Oregon in Eugene (her home town).  She welcomes the opportunity to lead the City of Inglewood’s human resources team and enjoys working with all City departments the City’s leadership, City Residents, and prospective employees.
