Local History Digital Images on Display
Inglewood Post Office circa 1880 The Inglewood Public Library has successfully completed a Local History Digital Resources Project grant from the California Digital Library and the California State Library.  Inglewood was selected as a participant in part in recognition of 2008 being the City's centennial year.  The project provided for the digitization of 200 images, which now form the core of what will become a larger collection.

The digital images will be displayed in future months on this web site, but a collection of 183 images may be viewed on the website of the Online Archive of California.    City departments, the Inglewood Unified School District, and the Inglewood-Airport Area Chamber of Commerce provided photographs and other materials.
