The 2009-10 City of Inglewood Planning Division includes a staff of nine full-time employees. Of those staff positions, seven are professional community planners, and two are administrative support personnel. Together, the staff provides expertise in the areas of land use and development as well as site plan review, zoning review and project analysis. The staff’s primary purpose is to guide the public through the development process and to serve as a resource for current and long-range community planning and the review of land use issues.
The staff serves to support the activities of the City of Inglewood City Council, Planning Commission, Zoning Administrator and City Administration. The staff is often requested to provide information and assistance to civic and regional organizations.
