Senior Citizens Project Advisory Council
The Project Advisory Council (PAC) at the Inglewood Senior Center is a group of seniors who meet monthly at rotating locations throughout the service area. PAC is responsible for:
  • Identifying needs of seniors in the target area; gaps in services; cultural issues affecting seniors and their use of resources; and soliciting input from other seniors in the community.
  • Participating in evaluation of the effectiveness and appropriateness of services, including review of client satisfaction survey results; making recommendations for improving services;
  • Assisting with resource development for senior programs.

The Inglewood Senior Center has had a Project Advisory Council since 1981. The Project Advisory Council includes: representatives from each of the communities served who reflect the target area’s age, ethnic and cultural diversity; participants and non-participants in various agencies including: care management, congregate and home delivered meals, telephone reassurance; a member of the Quality Assurance Committee; care givers or family members of the program participants.
