The City of Inglewood held its run-off election for Mayor today Tuesday, January 9th. In the unofficial election tally, incumbent Mayor Roosevelt F. Dorn won the election with 58.1 percent of the vote or 3,776; while the other candidate, Councilwoman Judy Dunlap captured 41.8 percent of the vote, or 2,722. A total of 6,542 votes were cast.
The run-off election followed a November general election where no candidate received the 50% plus one, or the majority of the votes cast required for election to office.
