Accolades Continue for the History of Transportation Mural Preservation
The City has yet another wonderful recognition by a prestigious publication for the restoration work done on the History of Transportation Mural.

The January/February 2009 edition of American Art Review magazine features the mural in an 8-page story, written and submitted by Anita Bennett of Young Communications of Los Angeles.  It is a true honor to be showcased in this magazine, especially during the same time the Los Angeles Arts Show was held at the Convention Center downtown, where over 5,000 copies of the magazine were distributed over a 4-day period.

Click below for an electronic version of the story and if you haven’t visited the mural personally, please stop by sometime.  Personal tours for schools, artists, historic groups, etc. are available by contacting the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department at (310) 412-8750.
