KABOOM! PLAYGROUND PROJECT DESIGN DAY
We Need Your Help!

The City of Inglewood was recently awarded a Community Playground Build by KaBOOM! KaBOOM! is a national non-profit that works to place playgrounds in communities. An integral part of the playground build process includes community based planning by volunteers who will help design and build a playground at Center Park.

We need your help!  The City is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the planning process.

A kick-off meeting and Design Day will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at the J.P. Parmes Auditorium, 3947 W. 104th St. (just east of Prairie Ave.).  During the first part of the meeting, children will work with professional designers to design their dream playspace.  The second part of the meeting will be a discussion with adults about how to make it happen.  This meeting is open to ALL Inglewood residents.
