The City of Inglewood anticipates receiving federal funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, and Homeless Emergency Solutions Grant (HESG) Program. These funds can be used to continue programs that address affordable housing needs; assist homeless persons; provide adequate infrastructure - including street and sidewalk reconstruction; address fair housing issues; and to support programs that enhance civic/community design - protection of the environment; neighborhood preservation and economic development.
Community meetings will be held throughout Inglewood to gather citizen input on how the City should invest these federal funds. You are invited to participate in order to learn more about City programs and make comments or suggestions concerning the City's community development programs.
