FOR PURPOSE OF CONSULTING WITH AND OBTAINING ADVICE OF RESIDENTIAL OWNERS AND TENANTS, BUSINESSES AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS REGARDING PROPOSED SIXTH AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE CENTURY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Inglewood Redevelopment Agency will hold a public meeting on February 18, 2004, at Inglewood City Hall, Community Room “A” located at One Manchester Boulevard, Inglewood, California 90301 at 7:00 p.m.
A draft Sixth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the Century Redevelopment Project has been prepared to amend the land uses with respect thereto by replacing the Redevelopment Plan map with a revised map of land uses that will be consistent with the City’s General Plan land use map. The Century Project has been previously merged with five other redevelopment projects in the City of Inglewood (In Town, La Cienega, Manchester-Prairie, North Inglewood Industrial Park, and Imperial Prairie Redevelopment Projects). Together these projects are known as the “Merged Inglewood Redevelopment Project”, or “Merged Project”. All residential owners and tenants, businesspersons, and community organizations (including religious institutions) within the Merged Project Area, and other interested parties are invited to the public meeting for the purpose of consulting with and advising the Agency on the proposed Sixth Amendment and other matters pertaining to the Project.
Copies of the proposed Sixth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan and individual project area boundary maps will be provided at the public meeting.
For further information, please call Michael Nuby, Development Coordinator, at (310) 412-5290.
The Inglewood Redevelopment Agency urges your participation in this important meeting.
