School is almost out and it’s time to plan summer activities. Don’t miss out on the free lunches offered to youth 18 and under at six different locations in Inglewood. Free lunches will be served Monday through Friday beginning June 27, 2005 and ending on August 31, 2005. The Summer Food Service Program is funded through a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Meals will be provided at Ashwood Park, 201 S. Ash Ave.; Edward Vincent Jr. Park, 700 Warren Lane; Darby Park, 3400 W. Arbor Vitae Ave.; Lockhaven Community Center, 11125 S. Doty Ave.; Rogers Park, 400 W. Beach Ave.; and Woodworth School, 3200 W. 104th St.
Menus consist of hot and cold foods, such as pizza, corn dogs, burritos and sandwiches. Milk, fruit and dessert items are also served.
