The Edward Vincent Jr. Park Swimming Pool will be open this year on Friday, July 3, 2009. General swim is from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Swimming lessons will also be offered. Children’s classes are held weekly Tuesday through Friday at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., or 4:30 p.m. Weekly class sessions run for two consecutive weeks, Tuesday through Friday (total of eight lessons). The minimum age requirement for weekly classes is 7 years of age. Birth Certificates must be shown at time of registration, NO EXCEPTIONS! Adult only-classes will be held on Saturday mornings at 10:15 a.m. All classes are taught by certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors.

The fee is $10.00 per session for Inglewood Residents and $14.00 for Non-Residents. Registration for all classes is required in advance and by pre-registration only! Sign-ups will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday at the Edward Vincent Jr. Park Office located at 700 Warren Lane (near the tennis courts). Inglewood residents must show proof of residency (utility bill: water, gas, etc.).
