Inglewood youth, ages 5 to 18, took to the Edward Vincent Park Amphitheater stage for a performance of “Ease on Down the Road,” an adaptation of “The Wiz.” The event marked the culmination of a four-week Summer Arts Camp presented by the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department. The camp included acting, dance, and voice training.
This exciting presentation was captured on film for the entire community to see. Local high school students participating in the City’s Digital Video and Television Production Camp were on hand to film the outdoor theater showcase as part of their final production project. The students received "hands-on" training during an eight week course and culminated their learning experience with a three-camera video production of “Ease on Down the Road.”
Hats off to all of the show’s participants – both those in front of and behind the camera.
